Acceptable Use Policy
This Acceptable Use Policy (this “AUP”) is part of the agreement between ClearDATA and its customers. ClearDATA may suspend or terminate services for violation of this AUP.
For cloud environments hosted on Amazon Web Services (“AWS”) infrastructure, the AWS Acceptable Use Policy, as it may be modified by Amazon, Inc. from time to time, is applicable and is incorporated by reference in this AUP. As of the revision date of this AUP, the AWS Acceptable Use Policy is published at https://aws.amazon.com/aup/. Capitalized terms used in the AWS Acceptable Use Policy have the meanings given in the AWS Acceptable Use Policy, except that the term “Services” means the ClearDATA Services that include the AWS hosted cloud environment.
In addition to the policies stated it the AWS AUP, ClearDATA customers must adhere to agreed security measures as detailed in the customer’s service order and implementation documentation, and otherwise adhere to current industry best practices appropriate to their environment.
ClearDATA may suspend or terminate services or access to a cloud environment, or both, as reasonably necessary to respond to an AUP enforcement action or request made on ClearDATA by Amazon, Inc.
If your Cloud Environment is hosted on infrastructure other than AWS, the ClearDATA Acceptable Use Policy, revision date November 2, 2011, is applicable and is incorporated by reference in this AUP. Capitalized words used in this AUP have the meaning given in the ClearDATA Cloud Computing Services Agreement published at https://www.cleardata.com/legal/cloud-computing-services-agreement/
Modifications to this AUP are effective as to orders for services entered into after the date the modification is published, or for existing orders, at the time stated in the agreement between ClearDATA and the customer.
